Zera Ivy (abt 1814-bef 1870)

Zera Ivey was born about 1814 in Tennessee, probably Grainger County. He later moved to White Co, Indiana and then on to Kansas, last appearing in the Kansas State Census for Douglas County in 1865. It is believed that Zera was a son of Baxter and Nancy Ivey of Grainger County, Tennessee, and that the name Ezra on Baxter's will was erroneous. There are several other alternate spellings of the name Zera.
